Thanksgiving is pretty much my favorite holiday.
I mean, Thanksgiving is basically Christmas without all the gift giving crap. Don’t get me wrong, gifts are cool and all, but I totally stress out about who to get presents for and being fair and all kinds of crap. So… just… no. Let’s eat. I’m all about the time spent together and the memories rather than giving and getting gifts.
I usually plan Thanksgiving weeks in advance. I’ll even map out the grocery store and make my shopping list according to my usual path. Yes, I’m that crazy. I stress out about if I have enough ingredients to make enough for people to eat seconds/thirds/fourths/fifths. I recount about 100 times how many guests we’ll have. I revise my menu at least 3 times. Thanksgiving is like Snarfy Super Bowl.
No recipes in this post, just today’s menu and some links. My recipes will come in the next few days as I take pictures of things today.

Mashed Potatoes and Gravy: Because not everyone is in to Sweet Taters.
