I know, I know.  I should probably get off the Thanksgiving train now that we’re heading for Christmas.  I just can’t help it though.  I love Thanksgiving.  It might be Christmas Junior, but to me, it’s perfect.  It’s all the togetherness without all the presents or material expectations.  Plus… the food…

My absolute favorite part of Thanksgiving though is Friendsgiving, where I observe Thanksgiving with the people I consider my additional family.  Things get silly and boozy and nommy and terrific.  SUPER BONUS: nobody at Friendsgiving asks you why you aren’t dating or married yet.  *sigh of relief*  ❤ ❤ ❤

Friendsgiving 2013 included: brown sugar carrots, focaccia dressing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and turkey gravy, sweet potato hash (by guess who), turkey, and broccoli-rice casserole.  Oh and lots of wine, rum, and vodka.  We pot-lucked this bitch, fo’ serious.
